While chalet hire periods are as follows (standard 2 night minimum, 3 night minimum on long weekends), you are welcome to enjoy the property and activities from 9am on day of arrival through to 5pm on day of departure! Please note the Tube Slide operates weekends and most public holidays only (subject to weather).
Available dates are shown in bold on the calendar to the right, please select the day of arrival to proceed with your booking.
Hanson’s Chalet is situated on the eastern side of the property next-door to Stephen's Chalet, offering an opportunity to bring 2 families together for the adventure of a lifetime. It's also a good distance from the main activity hub (though only a 10 minute stroll), so you can get your step-count up and enjoy an even more peaceful and tranquil setting.
Prices are per chalet and cover up to 4 people. Woodhouse is a pet-free site.
BYO pillows, bed and bath linen unless linen hire is pre-arranged for $40 per person per stay.
Chalet guests also enjoy use of a private campfire drum (seasonal), meeting our nocturnal animals on a night walk, playing spotlight in the forest or Disc-Glo-Golf (yes, we have 'glow-in-the-dark' discs!) and getting stuck into our ‘Old-School Games Pack’ including board games, charades and quizzes.
You're not renting a rustic cabin as much as you’re immersing yourselves into the whole old-school camp experience. The fact that we have no televisions and wi-fi is part of our charm! But you will find plenty of other modern conveniences... from a microwave to reverse-cycle air-conditioning.
Hanson's Chalet sleeps up to 4 in one double and bunk bed (BYO bedding, unless pre-arranged) in one small bedroom that is separate from the 'family room' (combined kitchen and dining).
The private shower and toilet are just outside the Chalet and an outdoor area to the side completes the experience, offering alfresco dining in the clean, crisp country air. Small gas BBQ included (BYO favourite BBQ tools).
Appliances include sink, bar fridge, hotplate, microwave, kettle, toaster, basic crockery, glassware, pots and cutlery. BYO any favourite cooking tools.
The chalets have reverse-cycle air conditioners so you'll be cool in summer and toasty warm in winter.
