Nothing is more practical than finding God, than falling in Love in a quite absolute, final way. What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. Pedro Arrupe SJ
About: Seeking God On the Way - online fortnightly program presents a series of ‘pilgrim paths’ that explore the variety of ways that we encounter God who meets us on the way each day.
Whilst Ignatius initially set out alone on his pilgrim journey, he soon came to see the need to journey with others. He later describes in his autobiography, that in his time of study at the University of Paris, “he gathered about him a number of companions.” Companions, who became the first members of the Society of Jesus.
It is our hope that those who come together to walk these prayer paths will find a deep sense of companionship with those who travel alongside them. If you are looking for a deeper way to connect with your own experience, to share this with others, or to deepen your experience of your last retreat, this program may be for you!
Each session (or Path) will provide participants with Prayer and Reflection material that will explore the ‘Ignatian Way’. It will include Ignatian Tools for Prayer, Scripture, Poetry, Music, and Song as well as a selection of contemporary Ignatian Voices.
This will be a valuable tool for personal growth and integrating spirituality into daily living. We hope you will join us!
When you seek me you shall find me… and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:13
