You are warmly invited to join a spiritual retreat focused on the vital work of Safeguarding and healing within the Catholic Church.

This retreat provides a sacred space for prayer, silence, reflection, and community learning on how we can better care for the wounded and vulnerable, and foster environments of trust.

Through spiritual inputs, time for personal meditation and communal prayer, participants will deepen their understanding of themselves and of their mission in the Church.

Facilitated by: Hans Zollner SJ. A German Jesuit priest, psychologist, and one of the leading global experts on child safeguarding in the Catholic Church. He is the director of the Institute of Anthropology, Interdisciplinary Studies on Human Dignity and Care at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, a former member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, and a consultor for the Congregation for the Clergy. He holds a doctorate in theology and is a licensed psychotherapist.

Where: Peter Canisius House, 102 Mona Vale Road. Pymble NSW. Peter Canisius House is located in the northern suburbs of Sydney amongst expansive gardens and old growth eucalypt bushland. You will enjoy generous home style meals, comfortable accommodation, and plenty of meeting spaces with ample parking.

Price live-in: $1185 for three nights’ accommodation, all meals including morning and afternoon teas, full linen, on-site parking, retreat facilitation, and take-home resources.
