Tucked among the tall trees of Gilwell Park, our new glamping tents offer a comfortable way to experience the bush without sacrificing the feeling of being outdoors. Each spacious canvas tent is thoughtfully set up with quality bedding, soft furnishings and plenty of room to relax, making it ideal for couples, families or small groups. Wake up to birdsong, enjoy the dappled light through the trees, and unwind at the end of the day in a calm, nature-filled setting. It’s an easy, laid-back stay that blends the charm of camping with a few well-earned comforts, all within the adventure-rich surrounds of Gilwell Park.

Single bell tent with 5 mattresses located close to a camping facility block B (Disability access parking and DDA complaint toilet/showers)
Use of Bouldering Park and Ninja Warrior Course.

Note - Bring your own fitted sheets and sleeping bags.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, please follow these site rules.

Checking In

• All visitors must check in at the Welcome Centre unless advised otherwise by staff.

Campfires

• Campfires are only permitted in designated fire drums or fire pits.

• Fires are not permitted during the designated Fire Danger Period, on Total Fire Ban days or during periods of Extreme Fire Danger.

Smoking

• Smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas.

Pets

• Visitors are not permitted to bring pets on site unless approved by the Centre Manager, with the exception of registered assistance animals.

Rubbish

• Please take all rubbish home with you. Let’s keep Gilwell Park clean and beautiful for everyone.

Wildlife

• Gilwell is home to native wildlife. Please do not feed or approach animals – admire them from a distance.

Food & Drinks

• Responsible alcohol consumption by adults is permitted, provided it complies with your relevant organisational and department of education policies.

• Please dispose of empty containers appropriately and avoid excessive noise or disturbance.

Noise & Music

Outdoor noise and music must be kept to a minimum before 10am and after 8pm.

Indoor noise should be kept low before 10am and after 10pm.

Be mindful of fellow campers, neighbours, and local wildlife at all times.

Footwear

• Appropriate closed-toe footwear is required throughout the site.

• Muddy shoes should be left outside accommodation buildings.

Water & Electricity

• Please use water and electricity responsibly. We care for the environment and encourage you to do the same.

Vehicles & Parking

• All vehicles must follow posted speed limits and directional signage.

• Vehicles must be parked in designated areas only – no parking at campsites.

Road Safety

• Gilwell Park is divided by a main road. Please cross only at the marked pedestrian crossing.

• All children and youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult when crossing the road.

Emergencies

• In an emergency, call 000 immediately and move to a safe location.

• Then contact the Duty Officer on 03 5968 1284.
