WHAT TO EXPECT 

Our annual Salesian Leadership Camp is a leadership training program designed to empower young people and those eager to step into leadership roles. Over four days, participants learn practical skills, introduced to leadership techniques, and - most importantly- experience hands-on learning in working with young people. 

This camp is more than just a training course; it is an opportunity to grow, connect, and give back to your community. The program gives participants the confidence to lead in a variety of settings including camps, youth groups, parishes and community groups. 

Leadership development is at the heart of the Don Bosco Camp mission. Following Don Bosco's belief in peer-to-peer mentoring and leadership by example, our program strives to give young people the tools and confidence to inspire others. 

After completing the course, participants are encouraged to join our team as volunteer leaders for our holiday programs- working alongside experienced mentors and continuing to grow on their leadership journey. 

COST

$150 per participant

This includes:

• Accommodation
• All meals and activities 
• Leadership resources 
• Leader's t-shirt

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS 

The Salesian Leadership Camp is open to young people aged 16 years and over. All applicants must hold a valid or begin the process of obtaining a Working with Children Check (WWCC)- free for volunteers and available online or at any Australia Post outlet.
